Code Vein 2: Rune Blades Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Code Vein II, Rune Blades are a brand-new weapon class consisting of two floating blades that mirror and extend your movements. They are designed for a hybrid melee-magic playstyle, scaling primarily with Willpower and Mind.

Unlike standard swords, these blades can be commanded to orbit you or be sent outward to strike at range. Most Rune Blades require significant Willpower to equip. If your character's Willpower is below the Burden requirement, you will suffer a massive penalty to your Ichor recovery rate.

Many Rune Blade Formae (like Stalking Sabre or Whirling Shredder) involve throwing your blades at an enemy. While the blades are "out," your character switches to a martial arts moveset (punches and kicks).

Rune Blades are the only class that allows you to combo a mid-air weak attack into a mid-air strong attack, letting you hover briefly while the blades cross-slash.
